Washington State "Essential Business" List
3/23 - Governor Inslee issued an Executive Order directing all residents immediately to heed current State public health directives to stay home, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure sectors and additional sectors as the State Public Health Officer may designate as critical to protect the health and well-being of all Washingtonians.
In accordance with this order, the Governor has designated the following list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to help state, local, tribal, and industry partners as they work to protect communities while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.

Tax Filing and Payment Extensions
3/21 - IRS Federal Income Tax Filing Deadline extended to July 15th, 2020 (from April 15th, 2020). This extension also applies taxes owed for 2019 and First Quarter 2020 Estimated Payments.

WA Department of Revenue
3/26 - WA DOR is offering extensions to businesses for sales tax, business and occupations tax, and other tax filings and payments.
- Monthly Filers: Request a 60-day extension by calling DOR's Customer Service at 360-705-6705 or make a request online from your DOR account.
- Quarterly Filers: The Q1 2020 return is now due June 30, 2020
- Annual Filers: The Annual 2019 Return is now due June 15, 2020
Property Taxes
3/30 - King and Snohomish County announced residential and commercial property tax payers now have until June 1, 2020 to pay their first-half property tax bills.
